State Bank of India conducts a different type of examinations for various posts like PO, Clerk, SO. As there are various examinations, there must be a different syllabus also for them. So the different syllabus for various examinations are given here:

Syllabus for SBI PO:

The Syllabus for SBI PO is divided according to the phases of examination, it has three phase of examination Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Group Exercise and Interview.

In the Preliminary examination the subjects are:

  1. English Language
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. Reasoning Ability

In the Mains examination the subjects are:

It has two parts, objective and descriptive type of test. The objective test consists of following subjects:

  1. Data interpretation & analysis
  2. Reasoning Ability & computer aptitude
  3. English Language
  4. General/Banking/Economy Awareness

Syllabus for SBI Clerk:

The syllabus of the SBI Clerk has two phases one is the Preliminary examination and the other is the Mains examination.

The syllabus for preliminary examination is:

  1. English Language
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. Reasoning Ability

In the Mains examination the subjects are:

  1. General English
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. General/Financial Awareness
  4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.

Syllabus for SO:

There are two papers for the post of SBI SO.

Paper 1 consists of following topics:

  1. Test of reasoning
  2. English Language
  3. Quantitative Aptitude

The Paper 2 consists of only the professional knowledge section depending upon the various posts available under SO.

The aspirants should prepare well for the upcoming bank exams to secure their job in the banking sector. The bank exam is becoming more and more competitive over the years due to the perks of bank jobs.
