CBSE 2016- Revaluation Process

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has declared the results for Class 12 Board examination on May 21, 2016. Few students are disappointed with their results as they performed well and their results didn’t reflect the same. Such students can opt for rechecking and revaluation.

Given below are the details which will help the students with rechecking and revaluation process

CBSE 2016 – Steps to verify the Marks

1. Candidates are required to submit an application for Revaluation/Rechecking.
The last date to submit the form is May 28, 2016 (Saturday)
2. The Application fee per subject is Rs 300
The collection of application will be only through e-challan and online gateway.
Fees/Payment will not be accepted offline
3. For students who are applying outside India, the last date to submit the form is May 31, 2016
4. The candidates have an option to apply for photocopy/grades/marks from/of the answer booklet
5. The verified/changed marks will be updated on the official website
6. The candidates who have applied for verifying the marks will eligible to obtain the photocopy of evaluated answer sheets/book

CBSE 2016 – Steps to get the photocopy of the evaluated answer book

1. Only those candidates who have applied for photocopy of the answer book can apply for re-evaluation
2. The fee for each subject is Rs 700
3. The forms will be available for the students between June 3 and June 6
4. To get the evaluated answer booklet, a candidate has to follow the prescribed format

CBSE 2016 – +Steps to apply for Re-evaluation

1. Only those candidates who have applied for photocopy of the answer book can apply for re-evaluation
2. The candidates can apply for re-evaluation for the following subjects
·         English core
·         English Elective (NCERT & CBSE)
·         Hindi Core
·         Hindi Elective
·         Mathematics
·         Physics
·         Chemistry
·         Biology
·         Business Studies
·         Economics
·         Accountancy
3. The verified marks will be uploaded on the official website
4. The re-evaluation can be applied for a maximum of 10 questions
5. A payment of Rs 100 is made per question
6. Apply online for re-evaluation between June 7th and June 9th
7. The payment has to be done, only through e-challan
8. Students who stay out of the country can make the payments by June 13
9. If the score goes over 5 marks, the first evaluation will not be counted, but if there is a change of 2 marks, the change is considered.
10. The payment/fees will be refunded in case of an upward revision
