‘Bharat Parv 2019’

Context:

The Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with other central Ministries is organizing the 4th edition of ‘Bharat Parv’ event showcasing the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at Red Fort as a part of Republic Day 2019 Celebrations.

Objective:

The prime objective of organizing the event is to generate a patriotic mood promote the rich cultural diversity of the country and to ensure wider participation of the general public.


The Subhash Chandra Bose Museum at Red Fort

Context:

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Subhash Chandra Bose museum at Red Fort, New Delhi.

Details:

The museum on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Indian National Army provides a detailed account of Subhash Chandra Bose and the history of Indian national army. It also showcases various artefacts related to Subhash Chandra Bose and INA. The artefacts include wooden chair and sword used by Netaji, medals, badges, uniforms and other artefacts related to INA.


Tribes India Aadi Mahotsav’s Soar to New Heights 40,000 Tribal Artisans Benefitted

Context:

Aadi Mahotsav is an effort to scale up the livelihood and income generating opportunity for tribals by giving them the opportunity to interact and sell their goods directly to the customers.

Details:

“Aadi Mahotsav” a National Tribal Festival is being organized in New Delhi by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and TRIFED to celebrate, cherishes and promotes the spirit of tribal craft, culture, cuisine and commerce.
