Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2016

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has released application forms for BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) 2016 on January 8. The exam is scheduled to be held on 14th to 28th May 2016.

The Mode Of The Exam

BITSAT  is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Courses of B.E in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical and Electronics in BITS Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

The application forms are available in the official portal of BITS. The last date for applying online along with fee is 5th March 2016. As per educational experts at BYJUs, almost 2 lakh candidates will be appearing for BITSAT 2016 to compete for nearly 2,000 seats available in various BE courses at BITS – Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Application Mode is Online only. Application Fee for BITSAT Rs.2200/- (Rs.1700/- for female candidates). If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test centre the application fee will be the same which is US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 3000/- ). This amount is the same for both male and female candidates.

BITSAT 2016 Important Dates and Deadlines

  • Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2016: 5th March 2016
  • Revision/Editing in the application form by candidates: 6 th– 7th March 2016
  • Test centre allotment and announcement to candidates: 8th March 2016
  • Candidates to reserve Test dates: 21st March – 10th April 2016
  • Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions: 20th April – 30th April 2016
  • BITSAT Online tests: 14th May – 28th May 2016
  • Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and
  • Preferences to Degree programs: 20th May – 30th June 2016
  • Admit List and Wait List announcement: 1st July 2016
