JEE Advanced 2020 Exam Postponed: New Dates to be Announced After JEE Main

JEE Advanced 2020 Exam Postponed

After the announcement regarding the postponement of JEE Main 2020 April session by NTA, IIT Delhi has also declared that the JEE Advanced 2020 exam will be postponed to a later date. The primary reason for this has been the lockdown state that has been enforced by the Indian government amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Previously JEE Advanced 2020 was scheduled to be held on May 17th. As per the notification that has been released on the official website, the exam authority has stated that the exam will be rescheduled after JEE Main 2020.

JEE Advanced exam is the second stage that follows the JEE Main exam. Earlier JEE Main was also scheduled to be held in the first and second week of April. However, as per NTA, the exam will be conducted in the last week of May. In essence, since JEE Main is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced this was bound to happen.

Meanwhile, candidates should often visit and check the official websites (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and (jeeadv.ac.in) to stay informed about the latest developments regarding the exam.
