Class 10 and 12 are a turning point of a student’s life as it decided their future. Hence, it is called the crucial stage. To have a bright and fruitful career, students should prepare effectively to perform best in their examinations.
SEBA Board has a specialized team which is involved in preparing the question papers. Exam pattern is given below to help students by giving a clear idea about the original question paper. Class 10 examinations are conducted by SEBA -Secondary Education Board of Assam and class 12 board examinations are conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council –AHSEC
SEBA Board Exam pattern
The pattern of examination is officially divided into four sections:
- Section A includes the objective type of questions.
- Section B includes a very short type of questions.
- Section C includes the short type of questions.
- Section D includes the long type of questions.
In all the sections, all questions are compulsory and each question carries individual marks and the total duration for each subject is 3 hours.

For Class 12, the subject includes:
