IBPS Po Cut Off 2016

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), will soon release the notifications for the various examination that it conducts for recruiting personnel for the various posts. All the aspiring candidates who are eligible for the examination can register for the examination. Candidates must have a doubt regarding the cut-off marks required, hence the institute has both category wise and state wise cut off.

In case, if two candidates have the same marks, at that time the merit list will be declared according to their date of birth. The last stage before the provisional statement is to participate in the language proficiency of the particular state from where the candidate belongs if he/she has provided the certificate of knowing the state language.

Stages of Cutoff:

There are generally two stages of cut off one is according to the sectional cutoff and another is the category wise cutoff.

IBPS PO Sectional Cutoff for Preliminary Examination:

As you all know that there is sectional as well as the overall cutoff. If, a candidate crosses the sectional marks but anyhow he/she is not able to make it up to the overall cut off marks, even then the candidate is no more a part of the competition. Here the sectional cutoff marks of the previous year are given so that candidates can have an idea of the marks they have to score in the different sections.

Final allotment process:

Total marks for the interview is 100, the candidates should score minimum 40% for general categories and for candidates categories SC/ST/OBC IT is 35%.  The ratio of the examination is 80:20 as for the Mains examination and the Interview respectively. The final allotment process is on the basis of the score obtained by the candidates in the Mains examination and the Interview.
