IBPS Po Syllabus

Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection(IBPS) has been implying many employees over the years. It recruits huge number of employees in Banking as well as in Finance sectors. The exams are bilingual tests i.e. the medium of the test is English and Hindi.

The IBPS PO exam pattern changed in 2015.In 2015, the in IBPS PO was conducted as Common Written Examination followed by the interview of the selected candidates. Since 2015, the pattern incurred some major changes and now the exam is conducted in two stages i.e. the Prelims and then Mains. The availability of online application form will begin in the month of July 2017. The two levels of exams would be conducted on October 7,8,14 & 15(Preliminary) and November 26(Mains) followed by the interview to be conducted for selected candidates who cleared both Prelims and Mains.

The IBPS PO exam is conducted in 3 phases namely,

  1. IBPS PO Prelims
  2. IBPS PO Mains
  3. IBPS PO Interview

IBPS PO Syllabus – Prelims New Exam Pattern 2017

The exam consists of objective type questions. The duration in which the IBPS PO Prelims is conducted is of 1 hour. The three subjects to be prepared for IBPS PO include Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & English. The Exam pattern of IBPS PO Prelims 2017 is as follows.

IBPS PO Syllabus – Mains New Exam Pattern 2017

The IBPS PO Mains also comprises of objective type questions. The duration is 2 hours consisting of 5 sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge and English language.
