SBI is hiring aspiring candidates for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer’s post. The candidates can apply online through the bank’s official website i.e. www.sbi.co.in. According to the official notification, the last day to apply for the posts was on August 10, 2017. A notification has been announced by the State Bank of India (SBI) that the application for the post of Deputy General Manager (Cyber Security) and Assistant General Manager (Cyber Security) has been extended upto 22nd August 2017.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates that are interested in the DGM and AGM cyber security post should qualify the following:
DGM-
Minimum 10 years’ of experience in Information Security area preferably in BFSI, IT and Telecom industry out of which minimum 5 years of extensive experience in managing Cyber security.

- Keen interest in Information Security and IT Security and developments in the sector
- Attention to detail, analytical abilities and the ability to recognise trends in data Creativity and patience
- Logic and objectivity
- Inquisitive nature
- Proactive approach with the confidence to make decisions
- Methodical and well-organised approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of people
- Understanding of confidentiality issues and the law relating to them.
AGM-
Minimum 8 years’ of experience in Information Security area preferably in BFSI, IT and Telecom industry out of which minimum 5 years of extensive experience in managing Cyber security.
