Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) was formed under Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995. BCECEB conducts state-level competitive examinations every year for admissions into different professional courses of Agricultural, Engineering and Medical streams in the institutions of Bihar state.

BCECE 2023 Result Dates
BCECE 2023 Result is predicted to be released on the official website of BCECEB https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/
BCECE 2023 results will be released in the month of August 2023. The authorities also will release the BCECE 2023 rank card along with the results. Once the results are released, the counselling will be organised in different rounds. There will be two rounds of counselling through online mode.
Based on the prepared merit list by the BCECE Board, the candidates are invited for the counselling rounds.

BCECE Merit List?
A separate merit list will be prepared based on marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam.
The BCECEB is expected to offer admissions to the Bachelor’s level courses only for those candidates whose names are present on the merit list.
The merit list will be prepared by considering the various factors such as,
- The cut-off marks.
- The total number of candidates who applied.
- The number of candidates who have qualified for the exam.
Based on the prepared merit list, aspirants will be called for the counselling process. In the counselling procedure, admission will be allotted based on their rank, availability of seats and choices filled by them.
The merit list can be obtained by entering the candidate’s login credentials – roll number and date of birth.
BCECE Rank Card
BCECE Rank Card 2023 will be released through online mode. The Board will publish the candidates’ ranks and the merit list. Candidates can obtain their rank card from the official website by entering their roll number and date of birth.
Candidates can download their rank cards from the official website and have to present them on the day of counselling for the document verification process.

Suppose there is a tie in marks or ranks between two or more candidates for the Agriculture and Horticulture stream. In that case, the following measures will be taken to resolve the ties:
- Candidates securing more marks in Biology and Mathematics papers will be ranked higher.
- If the tie still exists, candidates who have scored more marks in Chemistry and Physics papers will be given priority.
- In case of a further tie, senior-level candidates will be given preference.
For 50 per cent reserved seats of Agriculture and Horticulture streams, the following measures will be taken to resolve the ties:
- Candidates securing more marks in the Agriculture paper will be given priority.
- If the tie still exists, candidates who have scored more marks in Biology and Chemistry papers will be given priority.
- If there is a further tie, senior-level candidates will be given preference.
