The CBSE Class 10 result, which was declared in the month of May 2017, was in the form of CGPA points. In this system of grading, the candidate’s performance is rated on a scale of 10.
CGPA refers to Cumulative Grade Points Average. It is an average obtained mark in all the subjects.  CGPA is different from the percentage. CGPA is generally calculated by multiplying the overall CGPA to calculate the percentage of 9.5. This grading system plays a major role in students’ internship and placement opportunities. As per the CBSE board of education, CGPA in CBSE Class 10 result, the minimum pass percentage should be at least 33 percent of the total in each subject.
