UGC NET exam is successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday i.e. 5th November 2017. CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam opens the gateway for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship in Indian Universities and Colleges. Around 9 lakh 30 thousand candidates applied for the examination which was conducted in 91 cities and 1700 exam centers across India. The Central Board of Secondary Education will declare the CBSE NET result for November 2017 exam in January 2018. The exact date of UGC NET result 2017 is not out yet. NET exam result will be declared on the official website of CBSE NET.
According to CBSE, out of 9 lakh 30 thousand registered applicants 519557 were female candidates, 409439 were male candidates and 3 were transgender candidates. CBSE marked an attendance of 75% for the candidates who registered for UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam was held from 9:30 am in the morning to 4:30 pm in the evening for 3 papers. It was compulsory for applicants to appear in all the papers. The detailed paper pattern of UGC NET 2017 is given below.
UGC NET Paper I:
- Number of Questions: 50
- Marks: 100
- Time Duration: 9:30 am – 10:45 am
UGC NET Paper II:
- Number of Questions: 50
- Marks: 100
- Time Duration: 11:15 am – 12:30 pm
UGC NET Paper III:
- Number of Questions: 75
- Marks: 150
- Time Duration: 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
The Central Board of Secondary Education organized the NET exam 2017 under the supervision of Mrs. Anita Karwal (Chairperson CBSE) Mr. Anurag Tripathi (Secretary CBSE) and other various CBSE officers. The board had rolled in numerous invigilators and 2091 observers to conduct the exam effectively and minimize any chance of fraud or cheating.

Candidates can check the UGC NET result 2017 after CBSE declares it on the official CBSE NET website. They can follow the below-mentioned step to check their CBSE NET result.
Step 1: Go to the official website of CBSE.
Step 2: Click the UGC NET Result link on the CBSE NET homepage.
Step 3: Enter the roll number, application number and date of birth as in NET admit card.
Step 4: Click the Submit button and the UGC NET result 2017 will appear on the screen.
