Chhattisgarh Board Will Not Conduct Class 10 and Class 12 Exams

CGBSE or Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, the education board in charge of conducting the Secondary and Higher Secondary exams, now announce that they will not be conducting exams for the remaining papers of Classes 10 and 12. Earlier, the exams for some minor subjects of CGBSE Class 10 and for Geography and a few other optional subjects for Class 12 were postponed in March, in view of the coronavirus outbreak and continued lockdown.

Instead of holding the annual exams, the board plans to give marks for the pending papers based on the internal assessment of each paper, according to news agency ANI. Meanwhile, a CGBSE official also added that the students who fail to clear the assessment and skip the procedures would be given minimum passing marks. No one will be failed during the assessment of these remaining subjects.

The board had also earlier decided to promote the children of classes other than 10 and 12 of the state schools without the exams.

Students can easily access details for the exams and all the study materials from the CGBSE webpage. Other resources we offer include the syllabus, the textbooks, CGBSE blueprints and sample papers.
