APJEE 2023 Exam Centre
The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh, has decided to conduct the APJEE 2023 at the designated examination centres in Arunachal Pradesh, i.e., at Itanagar, Pasighat, Namsa for the academic session 2023-24. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 27, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
APJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for APJEE 2023 are determined by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. Candidates must fulfil the following conditions to be eligible for admissions through APJEE:
Age Limit: Candidates must be 15-18 years of age on the date of admission. A relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is provided to the candidates of SC and ST categories.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed Grade 10/12 or an equivalent examination.
On fulfilling the above two criteria, the candidates will be listed in the following two categories:
Category 1: All the candidates belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribes (APST), including the children of the Centre/State Government employees and the IAS officers belonging to APST, are eligible for the examination.
Category 2: The category includes the candidates who are:
- The children of Government employees who belong to the non-APST category.
- The children of the employees of either the All India Services or the Central Government Organisations or the Central Public Sector Undertakings within Arunachal Pradesh.
- The rest of the candidates (who are not included in any of the above categories), given the eligibility criteria (1) and (2), are fulfilled by the candidates.

Steps to Fill Out APJEE 2023 Application Form
The candidates can apply for APJEE 2023 online on the official website of APSCTE. The steps to be followed for successfully filling out the application form are as follows:
- Step 1: Visit the official APSCTE website.
- Step 2: Click on the “APJEE 2023 Registration” link. Fill out all the details required for registration.
- Step 3: After the successful registration, candidates may log in to their candidate portal by using their username and password.
- Step 4: The Application Form opens up online, and the candidates need to fill out all details required in the Application Form.
- Step 5: The last step is the online payment of the Application Fee.
Instructions for Filling Out the Application Form
Before filling out the APJEE 2023 Application Form online, candidates must be aware of all the required documents. These documents and requirements are listed in the instructions given below.
- The candidate’s coloured passport-size photograph and the signature of the candidate with the size between 10 KB to 100 KB are required. The image should be in JPG format.
- The marksheet of the qualifying exam, i.e. Grade 10 or 12, must be uploaded in PDF format, between the size 10 KB to 300 KB.
- A category certificate in order to prove the category of the candidate must be uploaded.
- The Category 1 candidates (check eligibility criteria) must upload the APST certificate.
- The Category 2 candidates must upload either the Government Employment Certificate/Temporary Residential Certificate (TRC) issued by the First Class Magistrate for the year 2023.
- If applicable, a PwD certificate must be uploaded.
- Transfer Certificate or the School Leaving Certificate must be uploaded.
- The passing certificate and the marksheet of the qualifying examination must be uploaded by the candidate.
- A copy of the Grade 10 certificate for the age verification of the candidate must be uploaded.
- A Character Certificate issued by the last institution attended by the candidate must be uploaded.
- A Migration Certificate is to be submitted.
- If required, the SC/ST certificate must be uploaded.
- A certificate of the employment of the parents by the employing authority.
- Application Fee: The APJEE 2023 Application Fee for the APST and non-APST candidates are different:
- APST candidates need to pay an amount of Rs 500/- as the Application Fees.
- The non-APST candidates need to pay an amount of Rs 700/- as the Application Fees.
APJEE 2023 Admit Card
The APSCTE issues the Admit Card for APJEE 2023. Following instructions are given for the APJEE 2023:
- Candidates can download their Admit Cards from the official website.
- Candidates must log in to their candidate profile by entering their user ID and password.
- Candidates must download the Admit Card from the candidate portal and get a printout of the same. The candidates must save a copy of the Admit Card for future reference.

APJEE 2023 Results
The APJEE 2023 Results will be declared on May 27, 2023. The Results were declared online on the official APSCTE website, along with the category-wise merit list. The Results declared by APSCTE will be final, and there will be no review or scrutiny. The APJEE 2023 contains the following information: the name of the candidate, the roll number, the merit rank secured by the candidate, total marks obtained in the exam and the Round 1 Counselling Schedule.
APJEE 2023 Results Tie-breaking Rule:
- Candidates holding the same marks will be granted the same rank (irrespective of the number of candidates).
- The Inter-Se-Merit is determined by the percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
APJEE 2023 Counselling
Only qualified candidates are allowed to participate in the APJEE 2023 Online Counselling. The candidates will be required to lock the institutes and courses of their choice during the Online Counselling sessions. The candidates are advised to make as many choices as they want in order to increase their chances of getting a seat allotted in the institute of their choice.
The seats are allotted on the basis of availability of seats, marks scored by the candidate in APJEE 2023, marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination and the choices locked by the candidate during the Counselling process.
Note: If by any reason, a candidate fails to report to the allotted institution, they will not be allowed to participate in future APJEE 2023 admission processes.
