The CUET PG is a common entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various PG programmes in about 40 central and other participating universities. The CUET PG exam is conducted annually as a 120 minutes exam. Till 2022, the CUET PG exam was called CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test). Before 2021, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had conducted the exam in the mode of paper-pencil.
The CUET 2023 PG examination is scheduled from June 5 to June 12, 2023. The Application forms for CUET 2023 were released on March 20, 2023, by the NTA. Students were able to register online on the CUET 2023 application portal, from March 20, 2023, to April 19, 2023. Applicants were also able to edit the CUET 2023 PG application form if they had made any errors while filling it out. Previously, the application window was available from April 10, 2023, to April 23, 2023. Applicants will be able to download the CUET 2023 PG admit card in the fourth week of May. There will be no alteration in the CUET PG 2023 exam pattern.

CUET 2023 PG Application Form
The CUET 2023 PG Application form was released by the NTA on the official CUET website on March 20, 2023. Applicants can complete the CUET 2023 application form on the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/. First of all, enter the details such as the applicant’s name, address and contact details. After saving these details, login credentials will be created. Then log onto the applicant section with the application credentials, and complete the CUET application form by entering details, such as academic details, personal details, exam city choices, programme details, and relevant documents. After this step, applicants must pay the CUET application fee through net banking, credit or debit card, UPI, etc. The current application fee is increased from the previous year’s amount.
CUET 2023 PG Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the exact eligibility criteria set by the NTA in order to register and attempt the CUET PG 2023. The main CUET PG 2023 eligibility criteria are given below:
- PG Admissions: Students applying for a master’s degree must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. There is no minimum or maximum age limit for PG admissions.
- PhD Admissions: Students applying for a PhD should have a master’s degree from a recognised institute or university.
CUET 2023 PG Syllabus
The CUET PG 2023 syllabus has been released by the NTA for every paper after the release of the CUET PG application form. The academic level of the CUET PG 2023 syllabus is that of the UG (undergraduate) level. CUET PG 2023 Exam Pattern
The CUET PG 2023 examination pattern consists of 100 questions. The CUET 2023 question paper is divided into two sections. Part A consists of 25 questions on Language Verbal/Comprehension Ability, and Part B consists of 75 subject/topic-related questions. In the case of the CUET PG marking scheme, every question carries four marks. For every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted, and for every unanswered response, no mark is given.

CUET PG 2023 Counselling Procedure
The CUET 2023 PG counselling process will be conducted by the respective institutes/colleges independently. Every institute will publish its own rank/merit list as per the qualified candidates after the release of the CUET 2023 result. Applicants should apply for counselling and then attend the counselling processes. Typically, there will be three rounds of counselling. In some instances, it may change depending on the seat availability. After the seat allotment list is published, applicants need to report to the institutes/colleges with the admission offer letter for the verification of their documents.
