DUMET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the DUMET 2023 eligibility criteria students must know before applying for the entrance examination.
- The candidates must have successfully completed their Class 12 under the 10+2 system with the necessary subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English from an accredited institution offering regular classes and located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
- The candidates must have cleared subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually, and they must have scored a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined (45% for candidates belonging to the OBC category and 40% for SC/ST candidates). The candidates must have regularly attended a recognised school in Delhi’s National Capital Territory and studied Class 11 and 12.
DUMET 2023 Pattern
The candidates must attempt the DUMET 2023 entrance exam, which lasts for 2 hours 30 minutes, according to the authorities. DUMET 2023 comprises 200 questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

DUMET 2023 Syllabus
Students must prepare according to the DUMET 2023 syllabus to qualify for the examination. The subjects from Class 11 and 12 will be covered in the undergraduate DUMET 2023 syllabus. Before beginning the exam preparation, candidates should go through the entire syllabus. DUMET 2023 Application Form
The application form and Bulletin of Information (BOI) can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110007, in exchange for a bank draft or banker’s cheque from a nationalised bank in favour of “Registrar, the University of Delhi,” payable at Delhi, in the way given below.
By Hand – DUMET 2023 application form can be obtained from the third week of January to the first week of March 2023 on all working days of the University. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PH categories should pay INR 550 to purchase the Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test application form. By paying INR 750, candidates belonging to OBC and the general category can get the application form.
NOTE: BOI is not available in a cash payment.
By Postal Service: The DUMET 2023 application form costs INR 800 for general and OBC category candidates and INR 600 for SC/ST/PH category candidates, including a 12″ x 10″ self-addressed envelope.
DUMET 2023 application form can also be downloaded from the official website. The duly filled and completed DUMET application form, along with the requisite demand draft, should be submitted to the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V P Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi. The DUMET 2023 application form shall be submitted within the prescribed time and date.
The application form, along with a Bulletin of Information (BoI) can also be collected personally from Maulana Azad Medical College, Lady Hardinge Medical College, and the University College of Medical Sciences.
DUMET 2023 Admit Card
Delhi University will host the DUMET 2023 admit cards a few days before the entrance examination. Students can download it from the Delhi University website. Please note that DUMET 2023 admit cards will not be mailed to candidates. Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards in good condition until the completion of their enrollment in medical or dental colleges.
DUMET 2023 Question Paper
Students are advised to practise the previous years’ question papers to understand the DUMET pattern and syllabus. Previous year’s question papers features important questions in the examination’s view. The test will also consist of brief response questions for a better understanding of concepts. Question papers will be in two languages – Hindi and English. Each question will have four possible answers, and the student must choose the correct answer. The topics covered in the questions include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects. The single-session exam will last 2.5 hours.
DUMET 2023 Result
The results of the Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test shall be posted on the official website. Marks obtained in each section and the rank secured in the Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test will be displayed in the result sheet. DUMET 2023 Answer Keys
Delhi University will announce the answer key to the question that appeared in the DUMET 2023 question paper. DUMET 2023 Counselling
Candidates will be short-listed for online counselling based on their performance in the DUMET 2023. The counselling will be conducted in various phases. Based on the merit list, candidates are given a chance to participate in the DUMET counselling sessions. Based on the choice of college selected, seats are allotted. Candidates on the merit/wait list are advised to carefully read the counselling information bulletin and understand the steps they must take to appear in the DUMET 2023 counselling.
