GGSIPU CET 2022 Important Dates

For proper planning and execution, candidates must be aware of the dates of important events of the GGSIPU CET 2022. The important dates and events of GGSIPU CET are given below:

GGSIPU CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) determines the eligibility criteria for GGSIPU CET. The eligibility criteria is defined according to the programmes offered at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The programme-wise eligibility criteria are given below:

1. For Admissions into BTech:
• Candidates must have passed Grade 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised education board of India.
• Candidates must also have passed in English as a subject (core/elective/functional subject).
• Candidates must have appeared in Paper 1 of JEE Mains that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The admission of the candidate will be based on the rank and scores obtained by the candidate in JEE Main Paper 1.
2. For Admissions into BTech Biotechnology:
• Candidates must have passed Grade 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised education board of India.
• Candidates must have appeared in IPU CET and must have appeared in the rank/merit list.
• Must be a lateral entry BTech (Diploma).
• Candidates must have passed a three-year diploma course in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks.
3. For Admissions into Lateral Entry BTech (BSc):
• Candidates must have passed a graduate programme having Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognised university in India.
• Candidates must have appeared in IPU CET and must have appeared in the rank/merit list.

GGSIPU CET 2022 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the GGSIPU CET is designed by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). GGSIPU CET is conducted as an offline pen and paper-based test. The GGSIPU CET 2022 exam pattern provides information like subjects, number of questions per subject, distribution of marks per question and total marks, total time duration, and marking scheme.

GGSIPU CET 2022 Syllabus

Candidates preparing to appear for GGSIPU CAT 2022 must be well aware of the topics to be prepared per subject for admission to their desired programme. The admissions to the BTech courses available at the GGSIPU are accepted based on the GGSIPU counselling. Therefore, no syllabus has been provided by the GGSIPU CET conducting authorities for the BTech courses. So, GGSIPU CET 2022 Syllabus for BTech (LE) BSc, BTech (LE) Diploma, BTech Biotechnology, BEd and PhD courses have been provided.

GGSIPU CET 2022 Application Form

The application process for GGSIPU CET 2022 began in March 2022. Candidates were advised to check their eligibility for GGSIPU CET 2022 before filling out the GGSIPU CET application forms. Candidates had to fill the GGSIPU CET 2022 application forms before the applications closing date. The application process for GGSIPU CET 2022 involved the following steps:

1. Candidates needed to fill out their basic details on the official website under the GGSIPU CET 2022 Registrations tab and click on “Submit” to complete the registration process.
2. Log in with the received credentials.
3. Filling up all the details required in the application form and uploading of scanned documents.
4. Payment of application fee.

The instructions for the format of scanned copies of documents to be uploaded is given in GGSIPU CET 2022 application form. Candidates must go through the complete instructions in detail before applying for the examination.

GGSIPU CET 2022 Admit Card

The GGSIPU CET 2022 admit cards will be available only for those candidates who have applied for BTech Lateral Entry and BTech Biotechnology courses. The GGSIPU CET 2022 admit cards will not be released for BTech programmes. The candidates applying for BTech courses will be selected through GGSIPU CET counselling based on their marks in JEE Mains. Candidates were advised to download and take at least two printouts of the downloaded admit card. The GGSIPU CET 2022 conducting body, i.e., Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), will not send or post the GGSIPU CET 2022 admit cards to any candidate individually. Candidates must carry the printout of the admit card and a photo ID card for the verification of identity on the day of examination. In case of failure to bring the admit card and the photo ID card to the examination centre, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

The steps to download the GGSIPU CET 2022 admit card are:

1. Visit the GGSIPU CET 2022 official website.
2. Click on the “GGSIPU CET 2022 Admit Card” tab on the Homepage.
3. By clicking, the candidate is redirected to the candidate’s profile page. The candidate must enter the login credentials and go to the “Download Admit Card” tab.
4. The admit card opens up on the screen, with a “Download Admit Card” click button. Candidates must press the “Download Admit Card” button to download the GGSIPU CET 2022 admit card to their computer.

The GGSIPU CET 2022 admit card will contain the following details:

• Exam Code

• Exam Name
• Exam Time and Duration

• University’s Stamp

GGSIPU CET 2022 Results

The GGSIPU CET 2022 results for BTech (LE) BSc and BTech Biotechnology are released in the form of PDF. GGSIPU CET 2022 results for UG programmes were released on the official website, i.e., ipu.ac.in. The rank list was released after a few weeks of the conclusion of exams. The qualified and shortlisted candidates were called for GGSIPU CET counselling shortly after the announcement of results..

To know their scores and rank for the GGSIPU CET 2022, candidates must check their results online on the official website in the candidate profile. Candidates were required to fill their usernames and passwords for logging into their GGSIPU CET accounts. The GGSIPU CET 2022 results are important for the candidate’s admission. So, the candidates must keep their GGSIPU CET 2022 results or rank lists safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

The GGSIPU CET 2022 result of each candidate will include details like candidate’s name, candidate’s roll number, marks obtained by the candidate, rank secured, institute and the examination’s name, and signature or stamp of the authoritative body of GGSIPU CET 2022.

GGSIPU CET 2022 Counselling

The GGSIPU CET counselling is conducted by the examination conducting authorities of GGSIPU. The GGSIPU counselling is the final and conclusive step of the GGSIPU admissions process. The GGSIPU CET 2022 qualified candidates and the candidates applying for the BTech courses are called to participate in counselling, provided that they have appeared in JEE Mains examination. Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria provided by GGSIPU for the purpose of admissions. If at the time of admissions, a candidate is found to not be eligible, then, their candidature will be cancelled immediately from the overall admission process. Satisfying the GGSIPU CET 2022 eligibility criteria is necessary for all the candidates.

The seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s GGSIPU CET 2022 marks, GGSIPU CET 2022 rank, and the seat availability in the preferred course. After the allotment of seats to the candidates, they must pay the admission fee within the stipulated time to confirm their acceptance of the allotted seat.

Note:- If the candidates fail to pay the GGSIPU admission fee after the allotment of a seat within the stipulated time, then their candidature will be cancelled.
