The Haryana Government established the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), (formerly known as the Haryana State Counselling Society (HSCS), under the Department of Technical Education. It was established to implement a transparent and uniform procedure for admissions to various graduate and diploma courses in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture.
HSTES administers state-level online entrance exams for enrollment into various undergraduate programmes. The admissions to BE and B.Tech programmes are based on the all-India rank of JEE (Main), conducted by the National Testing Agency.
Lateral admissions to Engineering programmes are offered based on inter-se-merit qualifying examinations known as the Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering (Haryana LEET). The Haryana State Technical Education Society administers the Haryana LEET. The Haryana LEET is a state-level lateral entry admission examination. It offers admission to BE/B.Tech programmes into the second year or third semester at several engineering institutes in Haryana.
This article gives an insight into the Haryana LEET 2022 dates, pattern, eligibility criteria, syllabus, results, and counselling process.
