The Lovely Professional University (LPU) determines the eligibility criteria for LPUNEST. The eligibility criteria differ as per the courses. The LPUNEST eligibility criteria for various undergraduate Engineering B.Tech programmes are as given below:

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to take up the LPUNEST online examination.
  • Candidates aspiring to appear for LPUNEST should have completed or appeared for the Class 10+2 examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) or State Board, or any other institution/council/college declared recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
  • Students should have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, English, and Physics subjects with 60% aggregate marks, to qualify for B.Tech LPUNEST or JEE (Main).
  • For the B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Food Technology, and B.Tech Biomedical Engineering programmes, Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, English, and Maths/Biology/Biotechnology are to be studied by the student.
  • For B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering, B.Tech Mechatronics Engineering, B.Tech (Aerospace Engineering) and B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) programmes, students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.
  • If the student has scored 85% or above in JEE (Main), then LPUNEST is exempted.
  • 5% relaxation is offered to students from Sikkim, North East states/defence personnel and their dependents/wards of Kashmiri migrants.

LPUNEST 2023 Syllabus

The LPUNEST syllabus is designed according to the examination point of view. Candidates are advised to read the LPUNEST syllabus carefully before proceeding to prepare for the exam in order to go in the right direction. The LPUNEST syllabus for admissions to various programmes is the same as the syllabus of the qualifying exams.

The syllabus for admissions to the B.Tech courses is the same as the Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology, and Mathematics Syllabus of Classes 11 and 12. The syllabus for admission to various MBA courses is the same as the syllabus of graduate courses in Business and Management, General Awareness, General Aptitude, English, and so on.

Here are some tips that candidates must follow while taking part in the online remotely proctored LPUNEST 2023.

  • Students must charge the laptop/smartphone in advance to last for at least 3 hours.
  • Candidates must have identity proof at the time of the test.
  • Check the power plugs.
  • Students should ensure proper lighting in the room.
  • Photographs clicked must be of good quality.
  • The room must be as quiet as possible.
  • Students are seated using a wall as the background.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the test screen during the exam.
  • Candidates must check the internet connectivity on their laptop/desktop/smartphone.
  • Students must ensure that the camera and mic of the system are working properly.

Here are some tips that students must avoid while taking part in the online remotely proctored LPUNEST 2023.

  • Do not try to navigate from the main screen. Doing so will automatically terminate the candidate from the exam.

The LPUNEST application forms were available in both online and offline modes. The candidates could get the offline LPUNEST application form from the university campus. The last date to fill out the LPUNEST Application Forms for admissions to various B.Tech courses is till the fourth week of May (tentative). The last date to fill out the LPUNEST application forms for admissions to various MBA programmes is not yet released. Candidates were advised to check their eligibility for LPUNEST 2023 before filling out the application form.

As confirmed by the examination conducting authorities, there will be no facility for the correction of details in the application forms after the form submission. So, the candidates are advised to check their application forms thoroughly before submitting them. Any discrepancy in the details provided by the candidate may lead to the rejection of the candidature. Candidates must keep a printed copy of the application form and the application fee receipt for future reference.

Candidates were required to fill in the required details in the application form and upload the necessary documents, such as a photo ID card, birth certificate, scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signatures, and then submit the application fee. The candidates could pay the application fee via both online and offline modes. For online payment of the application fee, the candidates could use their debit card, credit card or net banking. LPUNEST 2023 Admit Card

Admit Cards for LPUNEST were released as per the LPUNEST 2023 slot booked by the candidates. The LPUNEST admit cards were available on the official website shortly after filling out the online application form. Candidates were advised to download the admit card and carry a printout of the same to the examination centre on the examination day. It must be noted that entry to the examination hall will be prohibited if a candidate fails to bring the admit card.

The steps to download the LPUNEST admit card are as follows:

  1. Visit the official LPU website.
  2. Click on the “Download LPUNEST Admit Card” link.
  3. Enter the unique application number and date of birth, and then click “Submit”.
  4. Download the LPUNEST admit card and take a printout, as it must be carried by the candidates on the day of the examination.

The LPUNEST admit card contains the following details: candidate’s name, enrolment number, date of birth, father’s name, exam code, exam centre code, name and address of the exam centre, exam slot and timings, university stamp, etc.

Note: In case of discrepancy in the details of the admit card, the candidates must not change the details on the downloaded, printed copy of the admit card. In such a case, the candidate must report it to the examination conducting body, i.e. LPU, within the due date.

LPUNEST 2023 Results

LPUNEST results will be declared online shortly after the conclusion of the examination. The results are declared within 24 hours of the conduction of the exam. Candidates must log in to their accounts with the same credentials received after the registration to access their LPUNEST results. Candidates are advised to take two printouts of their result cards for reference during the counselling and admission process.

LPUNEST 2023 Counselling

LPUNEST counselling is conducted by the Lovely Professional University (LPU) in an online mode after the conclusion of each phase of LPUNEST 2023. To participate in the online LPUNEST counselling, candidates can register on the official website of LPU. The LPUNEST counselling fee can be paid either online or by directly visiting the university. The LPUNEST counselling process will be conducted in the following steps:

  1. Registration for LPUNEST Counselling by the candidate.
  2. Filling in of required details, such as application number, date of birth, name, marks scored, and the course of preference (or seat preference), and the completion of LPUNEST counselling registration, is marked by the payment of fees by the candidate after which the candidate receives the confirmation slip online.
  3. Allotment of seats by the LPUNEST conducting authorities based on the marks obtained by the candidates, number of available seats and seat preference.
  4. Uploading of documents by the candidates on the confirmation of allotment of seats. The uploaded documents are verified by the LPUNEST conducting authorities. On successfully verifying the uploaded documents, the candidates are called for admission to the university.

Note: If any discrepancy is found in the documents uploaded by the candidate, then the candidate will have to re-upload the documents.

  1. The last step of LPUNEST counselling is the reporting of the candidate at the allotted University campus within the stipulated time period and paying the admission fees.
