It is a National-level examination that is aimed at assessing the competencies of the candidates applying for admission to the Undergraduate Architecture programmes. NATA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Council of Architecture (CoA) determines the Eligibility Criteria for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The candidates must read all the points listed in the Eligibility Criteria carefully to ensure that they fulfil all the Eligibility Criteria to appear in the exam. The following Eligibility Criteria must be satisfied by the candidates participating in NATA 2023:
- Age Limit: There is no Age Limit for candidates to appear in this examination.
- Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed the Grade 12 examination from a recognised Board of Education. The candidates must have studied Grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates must have scored at least 50% in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and also a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the Grade 12 examination. 5% relaxation in marks will be given to candidates belonging to the categories SC, ST, OBC-NCL, or PwD.
- Candidates who have graduated from the 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to appear in NATA 2023.
NATA 2023 Exam Pattern
NATA is conducted for admission to the undergraduate programme of the Bachelor of Architecture stream. Candidates are advised to check the NATA 2023 exam pattern for a better understanding of the question paper and better preparation. NATA 2023 will be a 3 hour long examination and will be conducted as a computer-based online examination. The NATA Question Paper will consist of only one section and will have no section for drawing.
The NATA 2023 Question Paper will consist of 125 questions. The NATA 2023 Question Paper will consist of four types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), Preferential Choice Questions (PCQs), and Numerical Answer Questions (NAQs). As described by the Council of Architecture (CoA), candidates’ responses will be assessed based on the following factors:
- Candidates will be assessed based on their ability to analyse the given data and patterns in the question. This is called Inductive Reasoning.
- Candidates will be assessed based on their ability to assess the drawings and patterns given in the question, along with their Logical Reasoning skills.
- Candidates will be assessed based on their skills to solve numericals.
- Candidates will be assessed based on their problem-solving and verbal logic skills.
- Candidates will also be evaluated based on their General Knowledge and their ability to apply it in solving the questions.
- Candidates will be assessed based on their ability to recognise numbers, patterns, sequences, relationships and more.

NATA 2023 Application Form
The Application Forms for NATA 2023 Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III were available on the official website of NATA. The Applications for Phase I exams concluded on May 28, 2023, for Phase II exams on June 24, 2023, and for Phase III on July 27, 2023. As a part of the NATA 2023 Application Process, candidates first had to register themselves online on the official website by entering their personal details, such as name and phone number. After the NATA 2023 Registration, candidates were required to log in to the candidate account on the official website by using the login credentials sent to the candidate on their registered phone number and email ID. Candidates were then required to fill out the NATA 2023 Application Form completely and then complete the Application Process by paying the Application Fee Online.

Steps to Fill Out NATA 2023 Application Form
The candidates can fill out the NATA 2023 Application Form Online on the official website. The steps to fill out the NATA 2023 Online Application Form are as follows:
- Step 1: Visit the official website.
- Step 2: Click on the “NATA 2023 Registration” link. Fill in all the required details. The login credentials will be received on the registered email ID and mobile number.
- Step 3: Candidates need to log in with the received credentials and fill in all the required details.
- Step 4: After filling out the Online Application Form, pay the Application Fees Online. Candidates can pay the Application Fees by online methods, such as by credit card, debit card or net banking.
After submitting the Online Application Form, the candidates will receive a confirmation for the same on their registered email ID and mobile number.
NATA 2023 Admit Card
The Admit Cards will be available 15 days before the examination, and only those candidates who have successfully filled out the application form will get an admit card for the NATA 2023 exam.
The Admit Card for NATA 2023 will contain the following information: candidate’s name and application number, father’s name, gender, category, date of birth, date, time and day of examination, candidate’s photograph and signature, exam centre code and address, and the subject of examination. The candidates must take the Admit Card to the examination centre on the day of the examination.

NATA 2023 Results
The Results for all three exams of NATA 2023 is being declared on the official website. Candidates can download their Results online from the NATA official website, i.e. nata.in. Candidates must take a printout of the Results for future references, such as for Counselling and admissions.

The NATA 2023 Results (score card) contained the following details:

- If the candidate appeared for more than one test, then all scores will be received.
