National Tests for Programs After Twelfth (NPAT)

The National Tests for Programs After Twelfth (NPAT) are conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), which is owned by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). NPAT is conducted for admissions of meritorious candidates to the BBA, B.Sc (Finance), BBA (H.) Liberal Arts, BBM, B.Sc (Economics), and B.Com (H.) programmes provided at the various NMIMS campuses.

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 have already been conducted earlier this year. The schedule for NMIMS NPAT 2023 will be declared in December 2023. The NMIMS – NPAT takes around two to three months to get conducted. Candidates are allowed to appear thrice in the NMIMS – NPAT. However, the best of the three marks will be considered during admission. The examination will be conducted in three states across 60 cities.

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the NMIMS – NPAT 2023, candidates must check their Eligibility for the exam. If a candidate is not fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria, then the candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. Some important NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria are given hereunder.

  1. The candidates must have passed the Grade 12 or an equivalent examination (inclusive of the IB Board) in any stream from any of the recognised educational boards of India.
  2. Candidates holding the IB certificates are not eligible for NMIMS – NPAT. These candidates will only be eligible to apply if they have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the Standard Level.
  3. Only candidates of the age 25 or below as of the date of examination are allowed to appear in the examination.
  4. Candidates who passed the Grade 12 or an equivalent examination from any open-learning or distance education school are eligible to appear. In such a case, the candidate must be recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
  5. Candidates who have not cleared the Grade 12 or an equivalent examination from any recognised educational boards in their first attempts are not eligible to apply.
  6. Candidates must have scored a minimum required aggregate of 60% in Grade 12 or equivalent examination.
  7. Candidates must mention their Grade 10 aggregate marks in all subjects.

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern for NMIMS – NPAT is designed by SVKM’s NMIMS. NMIMS – NPAT is conducted on an Online Computer-based Test (CBT) Mode. The NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Question Paper will consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), in which the candidate will be provided with four sets of options having only 1 correct answer. The candidate will be required to select only the correct answer. The NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Question Paper will be divided into three sections, and the maximum marks for the examination are 120. For each correct answer, 1 Mark will be awarded; however, there is no negative marking for the wrong answers. The Exam Pattern for NMIMS – NPAT 2023 is given below:

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Syllabus

SVKM’s NMIMS determines the Syllabus for NPAT. The NPAT 2023 Question Paper comprises three sections. The topics to be prepared for each section of the NPAT 2023 Question Paper are Proficiency in the English Language, Quantitative and Numerical Ability, and Reasoning & General Intelligence. The NMIMS – NPAT Question Paper will consist of 120 questions that must be attempted by the candidates within 100 minutes. NPAT 2023 will be concluded within a span of 70 days. Candidates may apply for NMIMS – NPAT 2023 thrice, out of which 1 will be the main attempt, and the other two will be the re-attempts. The section-wise topics for each of the three sections of NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Question Paper are given in the NMIMS NPAT 2023 Syllabus.

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Application Form

The applications will be invited for SVKM’s NMIMS – NPAT 2023 from the third week of December 2023. For seeking admission to the BBA courses offered at the NMIMS campuses, candidates must fill out the NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Application Form by the third week of June 2023. Candidates can find the link to fill out the NMIMs – NPAT Application Form Online on the official website, i.e. nmims.npat.in.

To begin with the online application, candidates must first register themselves and create a profile by clicking on the “NMIMS NPAT 2023 Registrations” tab on the official website. After the registration, the candidates receive the credentials to their portal. Candidates must log in with the credentials received and fill in the complete details asked in the Application Form. The candidates must also upload the scanned copy of specific documents in the desired format and then submit the NMIMS – NPAT Application Form by paying the Application Form Fee. The details for the NMIMS NPAT 2023 Application Form Fee are given below:

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Admit Card

The NMIMS NPAT Admit Cards 2023 will be released soon after the scheduling of the exam. Only those candidates who will successfully complete their admission process will be able to download their Admit Cards from the official website of NMIMS NPAT. The NMIMS NPAT Admit Card remains on the candidate’s portal till the day of examination. The NMIMS NPAT 2023 will be conducted within 70 to 90 days (tentative). Candidates must take the printout of the downloaded NMIMS – NPAT Admit Card. Candidates must carry the printout of the Admit Card and a photo ID card for the verification of identity on the day of examination. In case of failure to bring the Admit Card and the photo ID card to the examination centre, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

The steps to download the NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Admit Card are as follows:

  1. Visit the official NMIMS NPAT official website.
  2. Click on the “NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Admit Card” tab on the Homepage.
  3. By clicking, the candidate is redirected to the candidate’s profile page. The candidate must enter the login credentials and go to the “Download Admit Card” tab.
  4. The Admit Card opens on the screen, click “Download Admit Card”, and the NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Admit Card will be downloaded to the candidate’s computer.

NMIMS – NPAT 2023 Results

To know their scores and the status of qualifying for NMIMS – NPAT 2023, candidates must check their results online on the official website. NMIMS will release the admission schedules, along with the NMIMS NPAT 2023 Results. The NMIMS NPAT Results will be released within 20 days of the conduction of the examination. Candidates must enter their NMIMS NPAT 2023 application number and date of birth to access their results. Along with the results, the NMIMS NPAT 2023 Merit List will also be released, which will be created based on the marks obtained by the candidate and the choice of the campus filled in the Application Form. The candidates selected for admission must confirm their acceptance for the admission by paying the Admission Fee within the stipulated time, failing which the candidate will be barred from the admission procedure.
