REAP 2023 Exam

The Centre for Electronic Governance, Rajasthan, conducts the state-level Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) for admissions. The REAP 2023 admission process will be standardised for the various UG courses, such as B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, etc. Applicants who seek admission through REAP 2023 must carefully review the eligibility requirements before applying. Candidates must submit their application form on or before the last date. Currently, Class 12 marks and JEE Main scores are considered for admission to B.Tech courses.

What is REAP?

The REAP is a state-level Engineering admission process conducted by the Centre for Electronic Governance, Rajasthan. It is an online counselling cum admission process. The students who have passed their 10+2 examination and are interested in pursuing Engineering courses at colleges in Rajasthan can apply for REAP.

REAP 2023 Application Form

The REAP application form can be filled out by the applicants on the official website. The application process of REAP includes a number of steps, including the payment of the application fee, application form submission, choice locking, etc.

Application Fee: To complete the REAP application procedure, all students must pay the required application fee. The application fee for each candidate will be Rs 700. For the transaction of the application fee, candidates can use a credit card, debit card, and net banking.

Application Form Filling: After the fee payment, students can enter details about their personal information, communication preferences, and educational background.

Documents Upload: Once all the information has been entered, students must upload their signatures and photographs.

Application Form Submission: Applicants must submit the REAP 2023 application form after uploading the required documents. After submitting the form, candidates will not be able to make any changes.

Choice Filling: Candidates will be able to fill out and lock their selections of colleges and courses once they have submitted their application form.

REAP 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Let us have a glance at the eligibility criteria for the REAP 2023 exam:

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates who wish to apply for a seat under the Rajasthan state quota must be residents of the state.
• Applicants who were born on or after 1st October 1995 are eligible to apply for the REAP. For SC/ST and PwD candidates, there would be a five-year age relaxation.
• Candidates must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent from the Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan or from any other recognised Board, with Physics and Mathematics as essential subjects along with one optional subject.
• Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% overall (40% for SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer SBC students from Rajasthan State).

For B.Tech Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have completed the 10+2 intermediate exam or an equivalent exam from any recognised board.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as essential subjects to be eligible.
• Qualifying scores: The candidates must score at least 45% in the qualifying exam and 40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC/SBC of Rajasthan state).
• Appearing: Applicants appearing for the final examination of 10+2 can also apply for the REAP.

For B.Arch Courses:

• Qualification: The applicant must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 intermediate or equivalent examination.
• Marks: To be eligible for admission, applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Subject: Applicants must have Mathematics as an essential subject in the qualifying examination.
• Score: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a valid NATA 2023 score.

REAP 2023 Admission Process

The steps included in the REAP 2023 process are as follows:

Step 1: Online submission of the REAP 2023 application form

• Submission of the online REAP application form is the first step for candidates to appear in the REAP 2023 exam.
• Candidates must register for the engineering admission process online at the official website of Rajasthan Technical University.

Step 2: Attend the REAP 2023 counselling process

• Students must participate in the REAP counselling process according to the listed schedule.
• Candidates are recommended to be at the examination centre at least an hour before the start of the counselling process.

Step 3: REAP merit list 2023

• The REAP 2023 counselling procedure merit list is now accessible for download.
• Candidates can check the REAP results on the official website of RTU.

REAP 2023 Counselling

Students can check all the pertinent information regarding the REAP 2023 counselling below:

• The counselling will be held in three rounds.
• There will be a special round (spot round).
• The first round of counselling will allot seats to applicants from outside the state of Rajasthan.
• In the second round of counselling, seats will be allotted to the candidates who have a domicile in Rajasthan.
• The applicants who chose upward movement are eligible to compete in the final round.
• Candidates must submit the option/choice form to participate in the counselling.
