Overview of Admissions for School of Engineering

Admission to the School of Engineering can be obtained using various paths. Below are some of the ways through which Engineering admission can be fetched.

    • Path 1: JEE Mains 2022 & 2023 (≥ 80 percentile)

Applicants with 80 percentile or more in JEE (mains) 2022 & 2023 are eligible to get direct admissions from the University. Note that the cut-off for each department varies, and admission is based on the cut-off set. SNUSAT & APT will be exempted for candidates applying through this path.

    • Path 2: SNUSAT + APT

Students can get admission to undergraduate engineering degrees at the University through SNUSAT and APT tests. Post-SNUSAT and APT 2023 exams, shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding their personal interviews with respective departments as a part of final selection.

Note: If candidates are selected by the School of Engineering, they are not required to appear for an interview.

    • Path 3: SAT + Interview*

Aspiring applicants can apply to the examination through SAT scores along with other modes of admissions (only once). The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview with the respective departments.

    • Route 4: ACT + Interview*

Aspiring applicants can apply through ACT scores in addition to other modes of admissions (only once). Qualified students will be instructed for a personal interview with the respective departments.

SNUSAT 2023 Fee Structure

It is advisable to know the fee structure for the engineering course each year. The below table gives an outline of the SNUSAT 2023 fee structure. The admission fee, tuition fee, refundable security deposit, hostel fee, living expenses and other charges are as mentioned below.

SNUSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

SNUSAT 2023 eligibility criteria vary for each state board in India. Below is the list of eligibility criteria for the SNUSAT 2023 examination.

Mizoram, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir. Applicants should have secured 60% or more in Class 12 board exam with a minimum of 50% in every subject like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Meghalaya, Punjab, and Goa. Applicants should have secured 65% or more in the Class 12 board exam with a minimum of 50% in every subject like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Scholarships and Financial Aids

To encourage deserving candidates and to provide education to every aspiring candidate, University has come up with many financial aid and scholarships. The University provides Financial Aid and Scholarships, which partially or completely fund living and educational expenses, to undergraduate students who meet the required entrance criteria(s).

Financial Aid

Candidates to avail financial aid can submit an application to Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR. Once an applicant has been chosen based on the stated admission criteria, he or she will be given a detailed form to complete.

The University financial assistance committee will decide on financial help and inform each candidate in accordance with their specific circumstances. The total number of applicants will determine the amount of financial aid, and the committee’s decision will be final and binding.

SNUSAT 2023 Application Form

The SNUSAT 2023 application form will be released online and offline modes.

After the university issues the official notification regarding SNUSAT 2023, candidates can begin the application procedure on the designated dates. Hence it is suggested to check the official SNUSAT 2023 website regularly. The SNUSAT application form can be filled out and submitted by the candidates within the prescribed date and time.

Applicants must enter personal and educational information as required and upload a scanned photo (passport size) and a signature in JPG or JPEG files as specified. Pay the SNUSAT application fee to complete the registration process. Irrespective of the category, the SNUSAT application fee of INR 2500 should be paid to the University.

It is advised to take a printed copy of the completed SNUSAT application form for future use.

SNUSAT 2023 Admit Card

As we know SNUSAT 2023 is a remote proctored mode held online. The SNUSAT admit card for aspiring students who wish to take admission is released online on the official website. Students can download the SNUSAT 2023 admit card using the login credentials, application number and password.

SNUSAT 2023 Results

The shortlisted candidate list will be made public by the University on its official website. Candidates can access the selection list online easily by using logging credentials. Additionally, the shortlisted students will get their selection letter on their registered email ID. Candidates must submit the application after the issuance of the offer letter as prescribed by the University.

SNUSAT 2023 Counselling

Following the release of the shortlisted student list by the University, SNUSAT 2023 counselling takes place. Successfully qualified candidates in the SNUSAT exam will be called for the counselling process for the seat allotment. SNUSAT 2023 counselling is conducted online by the University.

50% marks of Class 12 or JEE mains are considered, along with a 50% score in SNUSAT and APT exams as applicable. Shortlisted candidates have to check the schedule of counselling.
