UKSEE 2023 Pattern
The UKSEE 2023 is an offline exam conducted for 2 hours. The examination is conducted in both English and Hindi languages. All the answers are to be recorded in the OMR sheet. Objective type with four possible answers (A, B, C, and D), only one of which will be the best response or correct answer. One mark will be given for each correctly selected response. UKSEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
According to the latest AICTE norms, let us know the eligibility and qualification criteria for various courses under the UKSEE 2023 exam.
B.Tech Lateral Entry to 2nd Year
Note: This is applicable only for Uttarakhand Domicile & Academic domicile.
- Candidates should have passed a minimum three years or two years (lateral entry) diploma exam from a reputed institution approved by AICTE with at least a 45% score (40% score for applicants who fall into a reserved category) in any engineering branch.
- Candidates who have passed a B.Sc. degree programme from a university that the UGC has recognised with at least a 45% passing grade (40% passing grade for candidates in the reserved category), and passed the XII standard with mathematics as one of the subjects.
- With the exception that students in the B.Sc stream must pass both the second-year and the first-year engineering subjects of engineering graphics/engineering drawing and engineering mechanics.
- Students from the B.Sc stream will only be taken into consideration after students from the diploma stream have filled the supernumerary seats in this category.
- Furthermore, students who have earned a B.Sc degree from a university recognised by the UGC or an AICTE-approved institution’s diploma in engineering and technology shall also be eligible for admission to the first-year engineering degree courses, subject to openings in the first-year class if lateral entry openings are filled. However, admissions decisions must rigorously follow the eligibility requirements listed above.
B.Pharm Lateral Entry to 2nd Year
Note: This is applicable only for Uttarakhand domicile and academic domicile.
- Candidates who have passed a diploma exam in the relevant programme from a PCI-approved institution with a minimum score of 45% (40% for candidates from the reserved category) are eligible to apply.
B. Pharm 1st Year
Candidates must have succeeded in the 10+2 exam with Chemistry and Physics as mandatory subjects along with any one subject – Biotechnology/Mathematics/Biology, as well as they must have scored at least 45% marks (40% in case of students belonging to reserved category).
1st Year BA LLB & BBA LLB and Bachelor in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT 1st Year)
Candidates must have succeeded in 10+2 or an equivalent exam with 45% marks or its equivalent grade (40% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).
LLB – Bachelor of Law 1st Year
10+2+3 graduation pattern from a recognised and reputable university with a minimum grade point of 45% (40% for those who fall under a reserved category).
M.Pharm 1st Year
Candidates must have attended the qualifying examination for Bachelor in Pharmacy and received a minimum score of 55% (50% for candidates from the reserved category).
GPAT-qualified students will be offered admission through counselling first. If seats are still available, candidates who pass the UKSEE – 2023 entrance exam (in order of merit) will be offered admission.
M.Tech 1st Year
As per AICTE norms, a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the pertinent discipline with at least 50% (45% in the case of the reserved category candidates).
GATE-qualified candidates will be offered admission through counselling first. If seats are still available, those who pass the UKSEE – 2023 entrance test (in order of merit) will be offered admission.
LLM – Master of Law 1st Year
Candidates must have an LLB degree (BBA LLB, B.COM LLB, BA LLB, B.Tech LLB, or any other integrated law graduate degree) or an examination of an equivalent level with a minimum of 50% of the marks or its equivalent grade (45% in the case of candidates who fall under the reserved category).
MBA (1st Year)
Candidates must have a minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and have obtained at least 50% on their qualifying exam (45% in the case of candidates from reserved categories).
First, candidates who have passed the CAT or MAT will be offered admission through counselling; if there are any openings, those who have passed the UKSEE- 2023 entrance test (in order of merit) will be offered admission.
Master in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (MHMCT 1st Year)
Candidates must have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree programme in hotel management, a three-year degree in a related field or a three-year hotel management diploma with two years of industrial teaching experience, or a graduate degree in any field with a minimum grade point average of 45% in qualifying exam (40% for candidates from reserved category).
MCA 1st Year
Candidates must have successfully completed BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (IT), B.E. (CSE), B.Tech (CSE), B.E. (IT) or an equivalent degree.
OR
Passed any graduating degree, ideally with mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level (B.Tech, B.Sc., B.E, B.Com, BA, B.Voc, etc.), and obtained a minimum score of 50% (45% in the case of candidates from reserved categories) on the qualifying exam. (For students without a background in mathematics, a mandatory bridge course will be developed by the relevant university or institution, as well as supplementary bridge courses linked to computer disciplines in accordance with the university’s regulations).
UKSEE 2023 Application Form
As per the notification on the UKSEE 2023 official website, the last date of submission of the online application form and fee shall be last week of May 2023. Since the exam offers admission to various courses, candidates will have to submit a separate application for different courses. Before filling out the application form, students are advised to read the information indicated in the brochure/prospectus. The information mentioned is the general guidance of the candidates. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. The applicants are advised to provide reliable information while filling the UKSEE application form. During the counselling, the information given by the applicant in the application form is verified.
The application fee for general and OBC category applicants is INR 1500, and INR 750 is the application fee to be paid by the SC and ST category students. The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online through credit card, debit card or net banking.
NOTE: The lateral entry seats for B.Tech and B.Pharm shall be filled by Uttarakhand candidates only. Do not send the printout of the duly filled application form to the university; it’s a copy for the candidate’s reference.
UKSEE 2023 Admit Card
The admit card can be downloaded on the UKSEE official website from 2nd week of June 2023. Admit cards are released after filling the UKSEE 2023 application form. UKSEE 2023 hall ticket is the most important document to attempt the examination. Candidates must preserve the admit card till the admission process is over. Note that any request for a change of category or test centre shall not be entertained by the authorities of the Uttarakhand Technical University.
UKSEE 2023 Syllabus
