UPESEAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the University to appear for the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test. The UPESEAT 2023 eligibility criteria are given below.
- Candidates should have cleared Classes 10 and 12 exams from any recognised board.
- Applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Classes 10 and 12.
- Applicants should have cleared the Class 12 board exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates will be considered eligible if they score a minimum of 50% in the general Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
- Applicants must submit their most recent JEE score and rank in order to apply via the JEE Main pathway. Soon after the release of JEE main results, the cut-off rank for JEE Main will be revealed. It is necessary to have a minimum score of 50% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12 and a minimum of 50% in Higher & Senior Secondary levels.
- If an aspirant wants to be admitted only based on board merit, they must have scored at least 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) at the Senior Secondary Level (Class 12) and the Higher and Senior Secondary levels.

The UPESEAT 2023 syllabus is based on the subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Class 11 and Class 12. For UPESEAT 2023 preparation, candidates are advised to follow NCERT or state board textbooks. UPESEAT 2023 Counselling
Shortlisted candidates will be notified about the UPESEAT 2023 counselling once the slot is decided. The candidate must enter their name, branch preferences, marks obtained, and mobile number in the web-based centralised counselling system. In order to participate in the counselling process for admission, the counselling fee prescribed by the authorities should be paid.
