Academic Eligibility |
Applicants should be graduated with a full-time degree from any recognised university/institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or first-class for the MCA programme. A consistent record in Classes 10 and 12 is required. Candidates appearing for the final semester exam/final year degree exam are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed their final year/semester exams before the VITMEE counselling. |

Applicants who have given the final semester/degree exam in the current year are also eligible to apply. Before the VIT counselling, students should have completed their final year/semester exams. |
VITMEE 2022 Application Form
VITMEE 2022 application form is made available online by the authorities on the official website of the University. Aspiring applicants should first register themselves on the website. When the University releases the application form, students can login in with their registered email ID and password and fill in the VITMEE 2022 application form. Candidates should fill in their name, birth date, gender, category and academic details. The candidates are required to upload a scanned signature and photograph in the prescribed format and all semester/year/consolidated mark sheets.
Note: Pre-final year students need to upload mark sheets for four semesters. It is mandatory to upload the Aadhar card of the candidate. After paying the VITMEE application fee, students can submit their application form.

VITMEE 2022 Admit Card
VITMEE 2022 admit card is the essential document for the examination. Aspirants can download the VITMEE 2022 admit card from the official website. Candidates without the VITMEE admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The admit card consists of all the important information related to the exam, like the candidate’s name, registration number, photograph, signature, postal address, venue, date and time of the examination.
The VITMEE admit card is not transferable to any other person. The admit card should be presented to the invigilators at the test centre for verification. The VITMEE 2022 admit card should be preserved and produced for verification during VITMEE counselling/admission.
VITMEE 2022 Slot Booking
Candidates have to visit the VIT official website and check the dates and time slots on which the VITMEE exam is scheduled. After registering on the official website, students have to book the slot to take up the VITMEE. VITMEE slot booking is made on a first-come-first-serve basis, and availability of seats at the preferred test centres, respectively. If the preferred test slot is not available at the test centre, candidates may try another or check for any other test centre. Also, candidates are advised to book a slot for VITMEE carefully, as the authorities may not entertain any change request.
VITMEE 2022 Counselling
Candidates will be short-listed for online counselling based on their performance in the VIT Master’s Entrance Examination (VITMEE) 2022. Short-listed candidates should pay INR 1 lakh as an advance fee. This amount will be adjusted in the tuition fees when the student joins the course. If the candidate withdraws admission, the processing fees of Rs. 11,800/- will be deducted from the advance fee. The candidate’s name will be removed from the admission list, if he /she fails to pay the advance.
Documents Need to Be Submitted at the Time of Joining
- Class 10 and Class 12 marks statement.
- Aadhaar card.
- Community Certificate (for students belonging to SC/ST categories).
- Mark sheets of every semester/year as applicable.
- Physical Fitness Certificate.
- Qualifying Degree/Provisional Certificate (if already received).
- An undertaking for good conduct and behaviour in a prescribed form (to be issued by the University/Institute at the time of admission).
- Original Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate/College Leaving Certificate obtained from the institute last studied (if received).
- Student profile.
- Valid GATE scorecard (if available).
- Service Certificate issued by the employer. (sponsored candidates for M.Tech programmes only).
- Admission letter and a photocopy of the programme fee receipt.
- Conduct Certificate (original).
- Nativity Certificate (for Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern States)
- Two copies of a recent passport-size colour photograph.
- The affidavit must be signed separately by the student and parent in INR 20 (non-judicial stamp paper), and the same must be attested by a Notary.
