The institute provides a two-year full-time residential Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) and a two-year Executive Post Graduate Programme Management (EPGPM), as well as a non-residential doctorate Executive Fellowship Programme in Management (EFPM). IIM Kashipur Scholarships
- Institute Sponsored Scholarships: For up to 23 candidates during the first year and up to 23 students in the following year, IIM Kashipur will waive the entire tuition fee.
The following is a summary of the criteria for granting scholarships:
- On the basis of need, there will be ten participants.
- On the basis of need and merit, ten participants will be selected.
- 3 participants will be chosen on a merit basis
In any given academic year, up to 46 first- and second-year students can receive a full waiver of tuition fees.
Scholarships Offered by the Government of India
- Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top-Class Education for Scheduled Castes Students – Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
- National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students – Scholarship (Formerly, Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribe Students) – Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- Merit-based scholarship scheme belonging to the minority communities – Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Financial Assistance for MBA Analytics
- The full tuition fee waiver will be provided under three types of scholarship to first-year and second-year students of the MBA (Analytics) Programme:
- Need-based Scholarship
- Merit-based Scholarship
- Need-cum-merit based Scholarship
- The scholarship will be open for all categories of students, including SC/ST/BC-OBC/DAP/ EWS.
- Need-based and need-cum-merit based scholarships will be given only to students whose total family income from all sources does not exceed Rs.5,00,000 in the last financial year.
- A student who has received financial assistance/scholarship under any other scheme of the institute or the Government will not be eligible for any of the need-based and merit-based scholarships.
- The institute will review financial aid programmes from time to time, considering such things as any changed student or family circumstances, institute resources and demand.
- The institute offers significant infrastructure and financial support to FPM scholars. No fee is charged for FPM scholars.
Currently, each scholar is given financial support as follows:
- Financial support is also provided to international and national conferences (as per FPM Policy). Each candidate is offered free residential accommodation in the hostel. The hostel mess is run by the student body, for which the FPM scholars will have to contribute on a pro-rata basis. For married students, an additional amount of Rs. 5000/m will be reimbursed upon producing the rent receipt.

IIM Kashipur Campus Life
The institute is located in the beautiful town of Kashipur, which is in the lap of Uttarakhand. In addition to academic discipline, the institute is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, offering a holistic experience. It is a serene, peaceful paradise where you can see the Himalayas from the window or balcony of your hostel room at certain times of the year. The IIM Kashipur campus is entirely student-driven. There is a student-run canteen that caters to students’ late-night cravings and those who sit up for late-night project submissions, in addition to the mess, which offers four meals per day. There are also numerous cafes on the campus. Students participate in various activities throughout the year, including organising renowned IIM events like TEDx, Annual Fest – Agnitraya and management conclaves. Students gain firsthand experience with time management, teamwork and coping with stressful situations. Though the winters in Kashipur are cold, the institute’s radiant heating/cooling facility maintains an ambient temperature which keeps the students warm and comfortable.
Wellness Facilities
- Six days a week, a doctor visits the institute. A pharmacist and a paramedic are available 24 hours a day.
- All students at IIM Kashipur are covered by medical insurance. As a result, the insurance covers the hospital treatment.
- For the students’ personal and mental well-being, online counselling services are accessible.
- In case of an emergency, there is also a night ambulance on campus also that tie-ups with a few hospitals that are accessible 24/7.
- An on-campus ambulance is available during nighttime, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Also, an on-call during the daytime.
- In the evenings, there is a pharmacy that is open daily.
- Students can access counselling services 24*7.
- Experienced doctors are available from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day and are on-call in case of an emergency.
