IIM Raipur

The Indian Institute of Management, Raipur, IIM-R, was established in 2010 as part of the Indian government’s objective to broaden the reach of quality management in the educational sector. It was one of six IIMs established as part of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan in 2009. The Government of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development established IIM-R in Raipur, Chhattisgarh’s capital, in 2010. With its abundant mineral, ecological, and indigenous resources, Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-growing and largest states. The Institute is committed to training leaders who are conscious of their obligations to economic empowerment and bringing the country’s name to the global stage. The “ePGP (Blended Mode)” at IIM Raipur was created to suit the needs of working persons who desire to continue quality management courses without jeopardising their personal and professional duties. IIM Raipur is the first to offer the programme in a hybrid format. It is consistently placed among the top institutes in the Ministry of Human Resources Development’s list of India’s best business schools. IIM Raipur, like other IIMs, uses CAT scores to determine admissions; hence students must prepare hard and score higher on the CAT exam to be considered for the next round.

The institute is always vibrant with activities organised by student organisations, who are increasingly broadening their scope of action by inviting corporate leaders. In Atal Nagar (Naya Raipur), Chhattisgarh, the Institute has a permanent campus. With the goal of becoming a globally recognised business school, IIM Raipur has partnered with a number of business schools in Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States to exchange faculty and students. The IIM Raipur campus is roughly 20 kilometres from Swami Vivekananda Airport Terminal and 30 kilometres from Raipur Railway Station.
