Graduate Management Admission Test or GMAT is a computer adaptive test for the admission in Graduate Management Programs like MBA. The test evaluates a candidate’s Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Verbal and Quantitative Problem-Solving skills.
Eligibility Criteria For GMAT
There’s no such GMAT Eligibility Criteria or guidelines provided by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) for the GMAT exam, but the prospective aspirants must fulfil the following criteria before appearing to GMAT.
- To appear for GMAT, the candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university or institution.
- The candidate’s age should be at least 18 years.
- Candidates must be proficient in the English Language.
- In case, the candidate wants to retake GMAT exam, s/he there must be a gap of 16 days between two attempts of the exam.
- GMAT exam can be taken round the year, where the applicants have the flexibility to appear for it any day.
- There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam.
NOTE – These are general guidelines to appear for GMAT exam. Fulfilling these criteria doesn’t assure the admission in any MBA program at any University as GMAT eligibility conditions vary from institution to institution.
