Want to gain an MBA degree from Australia after GMAT? Mesmerized by the thought of spending student life there but got stuck due to financial crisis? Here is a list of Scholarships that are offered to the diligent international students. To foster country’s education system and disseminate it to the international students, the Australian Government offers the following scholarships.

Government-Funded Australian Scholarships for International Students

Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS): Students from Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East can take the benefits of the Scholarships to study in Australia of all degree levels (Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D). Applicants from Indonesia can also apply for the Allison Sudradjat Prize and/or the Hadi Soesastro Prize.

Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students: A range of merit-based international scholarships to study in Australia. The scholarships are available to postgraduate students from the Asia-Pacific region, Middle East, Europe and the Americas and are funded by the Australian government.

Australia International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS): This Postgraduate degree level Australian scholarship offered to international students from all regions excluding Australia and New Zealand. This scholarship is for those students who intended to study towards a research degree at a participating Australian university.

University-Specific Australian Scholarships for International Students

Australian National University: These scholarships are offered to international students at all study levels, which can be searched using a search tool on the university’s website.

Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI): Tuition fee scholarships available for master’s or PhD students registered at the University of Adelaide.

Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (FIPRS): Based on merit, students who tend to undergo master’s and PhD research, they can get the benefit of Australian scholarships to study at Flinders University in Adelaide.

University of Newcastle Postgraduate Research Scholarships (UNIPRS): Australian scholarships for postgraduate students to study in Australia at the University of Newcastle.

Curtin University International Research Scholarships: International scholarships for students who tend to pursue master’s or PhD programs at Curtin University in Perth.

Macquarie Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships: Partial tuition fee scholarships available to ‘outstanding’ international students to study in Australia at Macquarie University in Sydney. The students from Australia or New Zealand are not liable to take advantages of such scholarships.

Monash University International Scholarships for Excellence: Merit-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate international students to study in Australia at Monash University in Melbourne.

University of Western Australia International Postgraduate Research Scholarships: This Scholarship Covers tuition fees, a fortnightly stipend for living expenses, and health insurance. It is given to Research scholarships for master’s and PhD students to study in Australia at the University of Western Australia.

La Trobe Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES): These Scholarships are open to international students who study at La Trobe University in Melbourne.

Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS): Scholarships for toppers either domestic or international students to undertake a master’s research program at Melbourne University.

University of Sydney International Scholarships: Various Australian scholarships open to international undergraduate students studying at the University of Sydney. There are also scholarships open to postgraduate students.

University of Sydney International Scholarship (USydIS): Scholarships for international students undertaking research programs (master’s or PhD) at the University of Sydney.

Rotary Peace Fellowships: Australian scholarships awarded to master’s degree students studying within one of Rotary’s ‘Peace Centers’ (such as at the University of Queensland, Australia).

University of Newcastle Postgraduate Research Scholarships (UNIPRS): Australian scholarships for postgraduate students to study in Australia at the University of Newcastle.

International Water Centre Scholarships for International Students: Australian scholarships for international students undertaking the Masters in Integrated Water Management program at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.

Flowers Across Melbourne Scholarship: Scholarship funded by a Melbourne florist, open to design, technology and agriculture students; worth AS$500 towards university costs.
