A smart city is an urban development idea to incorporate many information and communication technology or ICT solutions with due consideration given to digital security, to manage the assets of a city. These assets include the local city departments, information systems, transport systems, schools and libraries, power plants, healthcare systems, law enforcement, waste management, and several other community services. The objective of a smart city is to use technology to enhance the quality of life and significantly develop services efficiency and satisfy the residents’ needs. ICT entails city residents being able to interact directly with the city authorities. It also allows better monitoring by officials and helps them keep in touch with the infrastructure.
