Kurukshetra University first in Haryana to take admissions as per NEP 2020

The Kurukshetra University has started admissions into its undergraduate programs as per the NEP 2020. It becomes the first University in Haryana to do it. National Education Policy For the first time, the online admission process for undergraduate programs at Kurukshetra University, Haryana has been started as per the guidelines prescribed in National Education Policy(NEP), 2020. There are approximately 1400 seats across various streams such as humanities, science, commerce, tourism, computer, home science, and five-year integrated programs. From now on candidates will be able to choose courses according to their wishes. For example, if a candidate has taken admission into a graduation degree of science stream, he/she can also choose to specialize in courses in other streams such as humanities or commerce. However, it is compulsory for a candidate to complete 4 credits in life skills, 12 credits in skills that are relevant to a particular subject, and 4 credits for various skill courses.
