K P Sharma Oli, the Nepal Minister said that his visit India has improved ties between both the countries, which was getting bitter due to the anti-Constitution protests, which the Madhesis also called as a complete failure and warned of fresh protests if their demands were not met.
Earlier, the relation between the two neighboring countries was getting bitter with the Madheshi agitation, but the Nepal PM said that with his visit to India has improved the relations between two countries.
Mr. Oli termed his visit as fruitful and said now there is no misunderstanding between both the countries and the focus will be on implementing the seven-point deal. He also added that he will call on the agitating leaders and Nepali Congress to join the government and participate in the development process of the nation.
However, Mr. Oli also added that any demand against the national interests would not be addressed.
In mean time, the disturbed United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) onSaturday held a meeting to appraise its protest programs and expressed that Mr. Oli;s visit to India is a complete failure and the PM visited India withot any agenda, which is a mistake, the UDMF added.
The Madhesis also warned saying that if the government did not address their demands promptly they would start fresh protests and it is also be noted that the Madhesis has announced the withdrawal of their protests including the border blockade.
