What is the full form of ISC?
The full form of ISC is Indian School Certificate. It refers to the higher secondary or 12th class exam conducted by CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations). The ISC exam is developed and planned in line with the Current Education Policy regulations of 1986. English is a mandatory subject in the ISC board, and the test is always carried out in English, except for the language in question. Students who pass the ISC exam have more chances to enrol in an A-Level college than the respective councils and board students.
Eligibility criteria for ISC examination
- Under the current ISC exams policies of CISCE, only Class 12 students who attend a full-time class at any CISCE-affiliated school can show up.
- Under normal circumstances, students with a long-distance (corresponding) course or home-schooled are not allowed to appear for ISC examinations.
