GOAPS, or GATE Online Application Processing System, is an official online portal for GATE Exam registration. Candidates who have successfully registered on the GOAPS will receive a unique enrollment ID and password, which can be used to fill out the GATE application form.
GATE Enrollment ID is the registration number that is received after the completion of pre-registration on the GOAPS portal. The GATE Enrollment ID is sent to the email ID that the candidate provides during the registration process. It is used for logging in to the GOAPS portal. The admit card also provides GATE Enrollment ID as the registration number.
Candidates can use their email ID and the Enrollment ID to log in to the GOAPS portal. They can also access their results and response sheet in the GOAPS portal by logging in.
Forgot Enrollment ID?
If the candidates forget their GATE Enrollment ID, they can follow the steps given below to retrieve it:
- Visit the GATE official website
- Open GOAPS portal
- Click on the Forgot Enrollment ID/Password
- Click on ‘Request OTP’ to retrieve the enrollment ID
- Enter the mobile number/email ID (used during registration)
- Candidates will receive their Enrollment ID via mail or SMS
