There are a total of 29 subjects in the GATE examination. It used to be 27, but 2 subjects have recently joined the GATE family, bringing the total to 29.
If a candidate is going to appear for the GATE Exam, then they are free to choose any subject depending on their niche and graduation field. Below is the list of subjects with their codes:
