When it comes to the competitive examinations, both GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and CAT (Common Admission Test) have made remarkable positions. However, often students have this question in their mind: is GATE harder than CAT? Well, the level of both the examinations is almost similar, and so the difficulty level is. However, one thing that can make a difference is the number of candidates who appear in the examinations.
Talking about the GATE exam, it is mainly conducted for science and technology students. Whereas, the CAT examination is open for all the candidates including, B.Tech, BA, BBA, B.Com, etc. That means the competition might be high here in terms of the quantity of the candidates.
Also, CAT is for a management program like MBA, so the majority of candidates can go for it. On the other hand, GATE is for a technical plan like M.Tech.
One thing is obvious that both exams need dedication, strong planning, and full hard work.
