A notification was released by the Indian Air Force announcing details about the courses commencing in July 2023. The courses are for Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches through AFCAT Entry (Air Force Common Admission Test) 02/2022, NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry.
The application process will start on 1st June and will come to a halt on 30th June. Candidates who are interested can apply through the official website afcat.cdac.in.

Age limit for Indian Air Force AFCAT 02/2022:
For the flying branch, the age bracket is 20 to 24 years as of 01 July 2023; born between July 02, 1999 to July 01, 2003 (both dates inclusive). The candidates with a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) have a relaxable age, i.e., upto 26 year.
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) branches can be between the age of 20 to 26, born between July 02, 1997 to July 01, 2003 (both dates Inclusive).
Application fees for AFCAT Entry is 250/- whereas for NCC Special Entry & Meteorology there is no fee.
