Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur told the media present there that, “I am also of the opinion that an impartial probe should be held in this case. As the investigation is spreading across many states, and to send out a message that the government was conducting recruitment with complete transparency, we have decided to hand over the probe to the CBI.”

Till the time CBI doesn’t take over the case investigation, the SIT will continue with their work. The CM has appreciated the work done by SIT by stating that Rs 8.49 lakh cash from agents, 15 mobile phones, a laptop and a car has been recovered in this case.
