The last date to apply for the Common Universities Entrance Test which is conducted by the National Testing Agency is 22 May 2022. Candidates who have not yet registered for the exam can apply on cuet.samarth.ac.in.

CUET is used for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. The exam was introduced in all central universities for the 2022-23 academic session under The Ministry of Education.

It was introduced to provide a common platform to all the candidates across the country and establish a better connection between different universities. Single examination will provide candidates a platform to be a part of the admission process to various Central Universities.

Tips for cracking CUET 2022

  • Practice test papers to understand the exam pattern.
  • Develop the required speed and accuracy to crack the exam.
  • The question paper will be MCQ based, therefore try and develop critical thinking and practice more reasoning, critical thinking, comprehensive skills, and decision-making questions.
  • Practice daily until the examination day to have a grip over the types of questions asked.

What is CUET?

Central University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency for admission for various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes offered in all the 45 participating institutions of India.

How can I apply for CUET?

  1. First of all, go to https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/
  2. Select the option of applying available on the home page.
  3. Register all the details.
  4. After completing the application, click on submit.
  5. Save and download the form.

What is the eligibility criteria for CUET?

Students must have a Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 diploma which is approved by the State Board of Technical Education. The student must have scored a minimum of 55% (General category) and 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PWD category) in Graduation Degree.

What is the difference between CUCET and CUET?

There is no difference between the two. CUCET stands for Central Universities Common Entrance Test which is an old name for Central University Entrance Test (CUET).

Is there negative marking in CUET?

For every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted, but no marks will be dedicated for not attempting the question.
