The ongoing destructive Assam Floods and high level rainfall has led to postponing of ICAI CA Exam 2022 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The exam was scheduled to be held on 19 May, 2022 and 20 May, 2022 at Silchar, Assam. The notice is available on the official website icai.org.

The educational institutions have been directed to remain closed for 48 hours from the time of the announcement, by the Office of Deputy Commissioner, District Disaster Management Authority, Silchar. The exams have been postponed due to the ongoing flood situation in Assam.

Only the Final Examination, Group I, Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics & Intermediate Examination, Group I, Paper 3, Cost and Management Accounting exams which were supposed to be held on the respective dates mentioned above have been rescheduled.

The official notice does not mention the new rescheduled dates for the exams but does state that the dates will be announced in due course. The schedule for Final and Intermediate examinations will remain unchanged. Applicants are advised to keep checking the official website for updated notifications.
