GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. GUJCET is responsible for the admission into the various U. G courses in the state of Gujarat. The exam is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The ACPC is responsible for the seat allotment and counseling process. But the exam is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).
The different courses to which admission is decided based on GUJCET are Engineering, Degree/Diploma, Pharmacy.
For admissions institutions will put up a weightage for GUJCET is a 40-60 split between the 10+2 qualifying examination marks and the GUJCET exam score respectively. Around 112 institutes in the state come under the GUJCET.
The GUJCET 2018 exam has been tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the second week of the May.
