GUJCET 2020 Exam Postponed - New Date Released

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) has postponed the GUJCET 2020 exam amid the Coronavirus outbreak. The GUJCET Exam was set to take place on 30th July, then it was announced to be held on 22nd August. However, the exam has yet again been postponed.

GUJCET 2020 has been rescheduled and will now be held on 24th August. As per the notice that has been issued on GSEB’s official website it states that GUJCET 2020 has been rescheduled to a new date on account of Ganesh Chaturthi and Samvantsari.

As the entrance examination has been postponed for the second time, registered candidates are advised to keep an eye over the official website at gujcet.gseb.org. Since the exam date has been postponed by GSEB, changes are also expected to be made in result and counselling dates.

In any case, now that the dates are out, candidates should pick up the pace and start preparing for GUJCET 2020 examination.

About GUJCET 2020

GUJCET will be held in offline mode (a pen and paper-based exam mode). The entrance exam will consist of two papers – paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics). Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible to take admissions for B.Tech courses amongst the participating colleges or institutes. Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the authority responsible for conducting the counselling after the declaration of results.
