GUJCET 2020 Revised Date Announced

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is an annual entrance exam for applicants seeking admission to the Engineering and Pharmacy courses. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) conducts the test. However, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) executes the admission and counselling process.

The Gujarat Board declared the GUJCET 2020 revised date. The entrance test, scheduled earlier on 31 March, will now take place on 31 July 2020. The updated dates are coming on the heels of the results of Gujarat Board Class 12.

Gujarat board usually announces board exam results for science stream and GUJCET results simultaneously, however, this year the schedule was set with the lockdown declared to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

More than 1,25 lakh candidates are expected to show up for the entrance examination according to the reports. The Gujarat board conducts the GUJCET exam for grades A, B, and AB.

There will be MCQs type questions from each Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology section in the GUJCET test paper and a total of 40 questions from each subject. Each question will carry one mark.

For Physics and Chemistry, the average time to attend questions is two hours. One hour is given to attempt the Biology and Mathematics section. The language of examination will be Gujarati, English, and Hindi.
