From 2023 onwards only 1 examination will be conducted at the end of the year by The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, for both the Indian Certificate of School Examination (ICSE), or Class 10, and the Indian School Certificate (ISC), or Class 12. The final examinations are likely to be held in the months of February and March.

According to the official statement, the revised syllabus for class 10th and class 12th has been made available on the official website, under the publication section. But the sample papers will be released in the month of July, 2022.

The schools affiliated with CISCE have been requested to arrange the academic calendar according to the new update, so that the students can be prepared for giving the exams in the new way which have tentatively been scheduled for February- March 2023.
