JCECE stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, which is held by JCECEB (JCECE Board) for admissions into various colleges in Jharkhand state. There will be 200 questions for the PCMB group and 150 questions for the PCM/PCB group in the JCECE exam. In this entrance exam, 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer, and ¼ mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

JCECE 2023 Application Form
- The application form will be offered online in the fourth week of April 2023.
- Only eligible candidates will get the JCECE application form; thus, applicants must ensure that they are eligible before applying for the exam.
- The application form must be filled according to the instructions provided on the form by the candidates.
- The information provided by candidates in the application form must be accurate; any changes to the information could cause rejection of the application form.

JCECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Course:
Age limit: To obtain admission, candidates must be 17 years old.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate exam or an equivalent exam from any recognised board.

JCECE 2023 Exam Pattern

Mode of examination: The examination will be held online.
Medium of examination – The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi.
Exam duration: Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the Physics and Chemistry question papers and 1 hour to complete the Biology and Mathematics question papers.

JCECE 2023 Admit Card
Once the registration process completes, the authority will release the admit card. From the first week of June 2023, candidates will be able to download their admit cards through online mode. JCECE 2023 Answer Key
The authority will release the answer key through online mode from the third week of June 2023. JCECE 2022 answer key will provide all the accurate answers to the questions that were asked in the entrance exam. Applicants can check the answer key from the official website. Even before the result declaration of JCECE 2023, candidates can estimate their scores in the examination through the JCECE answer key.
JCECE 2023 Result
The authority will prepare the results based on the JCECE answer key. The candidates will not receive their JCECE results via email Id or any other offline modes. Candidates must login to the official website to download the results individually.
JCECE 2023 Cutoff
The minimum score set by the authority is the cutoff. It will be released through online mode. Along with the announcement of the results, the authority will provide the JCECE cutoff marks. The cutoff marks will be created to shortlist applicants for upcoming admission rounds. In order to be considered for the admissions process, candidates must achieve more than the specified cutoff marks for their category. The authority will create a merit list with the names of the shortlisted candidates based on the cutoff marks.
JCECE 2023 Counselling
Every candidate who is shortlisted will go through online counselling, which will be conducted by the authority. After each round of counselling, the procedure will be held in numerous rounds based upon the number of vacant seats. Candidates are offered admission based on their ranks in the merit list. At the time of admission, the person with the top rank in the merit list shall be given first preference. Candidates must report to the specified centre to confirm their admission after the seat allotment. Applicants must bring all the required documents during the counselling process.
