Finding the value:

Given sum of infinite geometric series =4

a1-r=4 -------(1)

Second Term=ar=34

a=34r------(2)

Substituteain(1), we have

34r×11-r=4

16r2-16r+3=0

(4r-3)(4r-1)=0

r=34orr=14

In option, r=14is given.

Putting r=14in equation (2), we have

a=3
