Solution

The correct option is B False

Determining if there is a symbol for intersecting lines:

We know that there are three types of lines namely- parallel lines, perpendicular lines and intersecting lines.

We have symbols to represent parallel lines and perpendicular lines such as

P parallel to Q=PQ

P perpendicular to Q=PQ

When two or more lines cut or intersect each other at a single point, they are called intersecting lines. We do not have any symbols to represent intersecting lines.

If two lines P and Q meet or pass through a single point say O, then we can say P intersects Q or Q intersect P.

But we cannot represent intersecting lines with a symbol.

Therefore, the given statement is false.
