The area A=40cm2

Time t=2sec

The increasing differenceB=6-1Tesla

magnetic field is perpendicular to the coil

Step 2: Formula used:

The emf can be calculated using the formula-

e=-NBt.Acosθ

Where eis the e.m.f, N is the number of coils, Bis the difference, and Ais the area of the coil.

Step 3: Calculation of emf generated:

Therefore substitute the known values in the formula,

Since the magnetic field (B) and (A) are parallel to each other, therefore θ=0

e=-1006-12×40×cos0e=-100×2.5×40×10-4×1e=-1e=1V

Therefore the e.m.f. generated is1.0V.
