In Maths, the mean value theorem is one of the important theorems in calculus. The mean value theorem states that if a function is continuous on the interval [a, b], and is differentiable on the interval (a, b), and then there exists at least one element “c” within the interval (a, b), such that
f’(c) = [f(b)-f(a)]/b-a.
